The book examines specific EAL issues from multiple perspectives on a level appropriate for undergraduate education and education studies students. This book reminds readers that English Language Learners are no longer missing from educational radar, and resources like this book are needed to ensure our pre-service teachers have background knowledge and potential strategies and solutions for our culturally and linguistically special populations of students.

Teaching Pronunciation with Confidence is an essential resource for both English teachers and learners, designed to effectively build strong pronunciation skills and knowledge of pronunciation. This guide covers key topics, including English sounds, word stress, intonation, rhythm, prominence, connected speech, and pronunciation diagnostics to guide improvement. The book includes a wide array of interactive H5P activities and sound recordings, which can be used for classroom teaching, or homework and individual practice. These exercises provide practical experience, reinforcing the concepts covered in each chapter.

This book contains three levels of interactive grammar lessons and reading activities for beginning students of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). The grammar section includes a select set of YouTube videos, and the three original readers include short picture or chapter stories. Each lesson is accompanied by self-correcting exercises.

This textbook is designed for advanced beginning-intermediate English language learners in an academic English program. It is composed of 7 chapters, each of which covers specific speaking and listening learning objectives and includes dialogues, interviews, discussions and conversation activities. The textbook includes an audio component that consists of recorded conversations of native and non-native English speakers, as well as links to additional listening resources on the web.

These books were created by Don Bissonnette for students and teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL). In these books, which were based on grammar, one can also find vocabulary, some pronunciation, punctuation, capitalization, and model paragraphs.

ESL Blues offers quizzes, games and tutorials on all devices for people learning English as a Second Language at different levels. The Blues in the title refers to problems students have when learning. The site focuses on common errors students make, and it offers quizzes and explanations that allow them to correct these errors and check their progress. ESL Blues is not a comprehensive English course. It complements other English courses and offers quizzes to show a student's progress.

This Open Access Textbook will guide students through their English language to academic degree studies. Part one of this textbook is a guide for moving from ESL study to academic study at Portland State University. It includes the resources students will use to understand policies and processes governing their degree study and their transition to academic coursework. Part two focuses on how academic skills are used across various disciplines and is comprised of activities and assignments designed to practice these skills. Key elements include culture and expectations in an American university, transferring academic skills from ESL to content-specific academic courses, and helpful exercises to be academically successful.
