This free series of electrical engineering textbooks, Lessons in Electrical Circuits provides a series of volumes covering electricity and electronics. These textbooks were originally written by Tony R. Kuphaldt and released under the Design Science License. It has since then been updated by members of the All About Circuits community and editorial team.
The Design Science License outlines the terms under which these textbooks can be used, noting that permission is granted to distribute, publish, or otherwise present copies of the texts provided that a full copyright notice (including attribution to the original creator of the work) and copy of the Design Science License is published along with the work. Permission is also granted to modify the original work or develop a new derivative work and to distribute that new work under the same terms as the original, provided that the new work is also published under the terms of the Design Science License, the new work is given a new name so that it will not be confused with the original work, and appropriate authorship credit is given, outlining differences between the original work and the new work created by you.
