The Math for Trades: Volume 1 textbook represents the building blocks for math training. The book includes whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents. The material is presented from a trades perspective with easy-to-understand examples and video explanations accompanying questions. The goal of this volume is to get students prepared for the more advanced topics that they will encounter during their trades math education.

The Math for Trades: Volume 2 textbook continues where the first volume left off. Volume 2 increases the challenge with topics such as converting units and working with equations, perimeter, area, and volume. Once again the material is presented from a trades perspective with easy-to-understand examples and videos explanations accompanying questions. The goal of this volume is to take the material you learned in Math for Trades: Volume 1 and apply it to more advanced topics that you may encounter during your trades training.

This developmental-level mathematics textbook is intended for career-technical students.

Prealgebra 2e is an updated edition of OpenStax Prealgebra text, and is designed to meet scope and sequence requirements for a one-semester prealgebra or basic math course, introducing the fundamental concepts of algebra.

Elementary Algebra 2e is an updated edition of OpenStax Elementary Algebra text, and is designed to meet scope and sequence requirements for a one-semester elementary algebra course, expanding on the concepts of algebra covered in the Pre-Algebra text.

Teaches students the basics of the measurement systems that are required for a variety of trades. This course focuses on such measuring systems as: tape measure usage, rulers, micrometers, calipers and a variety of electronic tools. In addition, this course covers basics of unit-of-measure conversions and the use of formulas and lookup tables for a variety shop calculations.

Essential skills are used in every job to varying degrees and at different levels of complexity. They provide the foundation for learning all other skills and enable people to evolve in their jobs and adapt to changes in the workplace.

This book was written for an experimental freshman course at the University of Colorado. The course is now an elective that the majority of our electrical and computer engineering students take in the second semester of their freshman year, just before their first circuits course.
